Authoring of a new metric can be done in Nextanalytics for Excel, and the resulting analytic script can be copied to and executed by the Nextanalytics server. Data can be queried directly from your databases, transformed and delivered in a format suitable for your dashboard or reporting tools. With this approach, innovative KPIs and metrics become much quicker and easier to produce in a repeatable and re-usable business process.
